Black Hills Access
The hotel is 20 km from Rapid City Regional Airport and centrally located near Mount Rushmore, Badlands National Park, and Crazy Horse Memorial. Nearby attractions include Bear Country, Reptile Gardens, and the Rushmore Mountain Taffy Shop at the base of Mount Rushmore. Rapid City’s downtown, 3 km away, features art galleries, specialty shops, and Native American cultural sites.

The hotel staff was friendly and check-in was easy. The rooms were nice and very comfortable, although the bed was broken, which was a downside. The location is convenient, right off the interstate and close to a shopping center. The dining experience was decent, and the facilities included pool tables, ping pong, and air hockey.
The hotel had a decent standard with some drawbacks. Despite a few cleanliness issues like finding hairs in the bed and a dirty bathroom, the room was spacious. The location was the highlight of the stay, being convenient for city activities, especially with the fun water slide for kids. However, the crowded atmosphere during my visit was a downside that impacted the overall experience.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were dated and not as expected from the online pictures, with a rather unpleasant smell and cleanliness issues. On the positive side, the location was great and easily accessible to various attractions. The service had some hiccups but was responsive to requests for extra pillows. Dining options were decent, but the overall value for money could have been better.
